I'm allergic to feed lot meat (don't ask, it's complicated), which makes this place the only one in the county where i can get a burger. They raise their own buffalo, buy their veg locally when they can, and bake their own pies and cakes. There's not but a few tables, and the building looks like just another general store on the side of a rural highway. Don't let that fool you. The buffalo pot roast is amazing. They do a buffalo chili that's worth the drive all on its own. The double mushroom burger with sweet potato fries, however, is one of the great joys OTH my life.
Excellent food! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the desserts are incredible and unique. The service is outstanding too!
The restaurant was dirty, cluttered, and unappealing. The burger and the BBQ tasted good. The fries were burnt. Wishing it was more like the old buffalo restaurant.
A great gem of a restaurant tucked away in Riner. The owners are very friendly and the food is wonderful. It is like visiting family. Make sure you save room for dessert, or start there first!
The burgers are OK. There are a lot of other really good overpriced menu items. They used to have cuts of buffalo to buy. Now they just say that they're waiting for stuff, to everyone for a year. Good desserts. They charge for refills. They used to be awesome a few years ago.
